Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 6/20/2026
These Terms govern your use of Social Media Foodie (the "Service"), provided by McLamb Group Media ("Social Media Foodie") ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Social Media Foodie lets you save, organize, and view recipes extracted from social media links, with optional AI-assisted extraction. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
2. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including: unlawful activity, fraud, spam, infringing others' intellectual property, distributing malware, scraping, probing for security weaknesses, or attempting to circumvent technical limits.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction.
4. Intellectual property
We retain ownership of the Service, including software, branding, and documentation. You retain rights to the recipes and notes you save. You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the Service.
5. AI features
AI-generated recipe outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing them before cooking or following any instruction. Do not rely on outputs as professional dietary, medical, or allergen advice. You must have the right to submit any content you provide as input.
6. Subscriptions, payments and tax
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are described in Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. On termination, your account is closed; saved recipes remain readable as long as your account exists.
8. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid in the prior 12 months. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
